AI audit · Final Touch Painting

A website telling Google not to list it

Final Touch Painting's site had been telling search engines not to list it, and nine quotes a week were being chased from memory instead of a system. The audit found six free fixes and scoped one build for later.

The problem

The website loaded fine, but it carried a tag telling every search engine not to list it. The sitemap was gone and a site search returned nothing. Nobody had touched the setting; it was just off.

The owner quotes almost every job on the spot, and about two thirds of those say they'll think about it. In a busy week that's roughly nine quotes, worth about $25,200, sitting with no follow-up system attached, tracked from memory alone.

What we proposed

Six changes needed no build at all: flip the indexing switch back on, get listed on the local best-painters page it already qualified for, open the Work Order tab already hiding inside its own quoting tool, and three more sitting free inside tools already paid for.

Two workflow fixes close the loop for real: quote follow-ups switched from ignored emails to text, and a small connection that moves a sent quote into a waiting stage by itself, so a stale-quote alarm has something to fire on.

The one AI piece, talking an estimate instead of typing it into a phone standing in someone's living room, was scoped for the off-season, once the pricing rules are written down on paper.
